Volunteers are one of the greatest resources we can have. We are committed to creating opportunities for the community to be involved in the 21st Century Texas ACE Lufkin ISD Program, and we would not be able to carry out many of our program goals if volunteers were not involved. Volunteers provide opportunities that help us enhance the educational experiences for students and are a vital part of achieving our goal of strengthening community.
Whether it be for one hour per week, one hour per year or for specific events , the gift of a volunteer’s time is priceless. From helping our site coordinators prepare activities to reading to children, helping with All Pro Dad, mentoring a child, teaching a class or helping with a special event, our volunteers play an important role in success of the 21st Century Texas ACE Lufkin ISD Program.

To ensure the safety of our students and staff, a criminal background check is required before volunteers can serve in Lufkin ISD schools. This process must be completed each new school year. Once approved, you will be added to the LISD Approved Volunteer list shared with all of our campuses. You MUST be 18 years or older to volunteer.
