I am Lailah Sigler, Brandon’s Afterschool ACE Coordinator.

Born and raised in Lufkin Texas, I’ve built my story on strong roots and steady dedication. I am a true Brandon Bear ! I attended Brandon Elementary as a Gifted and Talented student (GT),showing early on my commitment to learning and academic excellence. Since my senior year of high school, I’ve worked in the afterschool program, demonstrating responsibility, leadership and a genuine investment in supporting others. As the youngest of three siblings, I have grown up learning from those ahead of me while carving out my own path with determination and heart. As someone who began working in the afterschool program while in high school, I have developed a deep passion for creating a positive and enriching environment for students. My goal is to continue improving the program by introducing more engaging activities, encouraging academic growth, and building stronger relationships with the youth we serve. I want the afterschool program to be more than just a place students attend-I want it to be a space where they feel supported, challenged, and inspired. I plan to improve this program by listening to students’ interests, incorporating creative learning opportunities, and fostering a safe, welcoming atmosphere where every child feels valued. By leading with patience, consistency, and enthusiasm, I will continue to engage and inspire the youth, helping them build confidence, discover their strengths, and believe in their potential. I am excited to be on this journey with every student of 21st Century ACE !
