With 14 years of experience in education, I am committed to student success and community impact. I am a certified teacher with a diverse background that includes teaching a variety of subjects in 4th & 5th grade, special education, elementary physical education, and afterschool program leadership. I have a Master’s in Education Leadership and Policies. 

I served for two years as a Site Coordinator for the Texas ACE program in Smithville ISD, followed by 2½ years as a Project Director for the Texas ACE Cycle 11 grant at Education Service Center Region 13 in Austin. In this role, I provided oversight and support for Texas ACE programs at 10 sites across 7 districts throughout Central Texas, working closely with district leaders, campus staff, and community partners. I have been involved with the grant since it started in 2021. 

Born and raised in Lufkin, Texas, I later relocated due to my husband’s career and is proud to have returned to my hometown. I am the widow of Chad, a dedicated Texas Game Warden. I am also a proud mother of two sons: Stihl, age 19, who is serving in the United States Army, and Kord, age 15, a sophomore at Huntington High School. My professional work is deeply rooted in service, resilience, and a strong belief in the power of education while working to empower students.
