Every 9 weeks, receive a collection of grade level, playful, hands-on, step by step activities for your family to practice math concepts at home.

Book Buddies Read A Book Event:

February 12, 2025, during car pick up 5:00-5:30 p.m.

Summoning all pirates, princesses, fairy tale creatures and more – Each student will receive a book of their choice from Book Buddies of East Texas.  Adults, you will receive tips & strategies that help your child understand what they're reading, build vocabulary, and improve their reading skills.

Lights On Afterschool:

Join us & Afterschool Programs across the nation to celebrate Lights on Afterschool. Help us shine a light on the impact that afterschool programs are making-supporting children, families & schools. For every one child that gets to participate in an afterschool program, three more are waiting to get in.

Writer's Block Party:

Writer’s Block – the condition of being unable to think of what to write or how to proceed with writing. Creative writing is a brilliant tool for sharing stories, unlocking your creativity and expressing  ourselves – but sometimes it’s hard to know where to start! This word-based session will give young authors an arsenal of techniques and stimuli to get the creative juices flowing, and improve their writing and storytelling confidence .This is a party of words and everyone is invited! Suitable for all writing ability levels, this session is about finding the joy in words and creating worlds with our imagination. ( Session in English & Spanish)
