LBS 150 Challenge
With the start of another year we have a new cohort of students who are beginning their journey at Lordswood Boys' School and in the LBS 150 Challenge. We have included some information for parents and pupils new to the school so they can find out more about the LBS 150 Challenge!
The LBS 150 Challenge is an exciting reading competition, created just for Lordswood Boys’ School students. We have selected 150 books across a wide range of genres, works that stretch, engage and fascinate the reader. The ultimate challenge is for students to read all 150 titles during their time with us at Lordswood... quite the challenge and certainly ambitious.
Students have five years to read as many as they can – and remember, the more books you read the higher you'll climb on the school leaderboard. The higher you climb, the more badges and prizes you will win.
For every five books you read in the LBS 150 you can earn one pin badge. For 30 books, that's a total of five badges to collect!
In addition, at the end of this Autumn Term we will be selecting 20 students from each year group to go on an amazing school trip when we return in January. These will be the students who have demonstrated the greatest effort with their reading, the best progress over the year or have simply been outstanding readers. Remember, the more badges you win, the higher you will climb on the school leaderboard.

Leaderboard Highlights
As the current Leaderboard stands more than 234 students in the school have earned at least one badge!
The Year 7s have already begun getting involved and 2 students have earned their first badges.
The current Year 9s are charging ahead with 3 students having earned their Topaz badge.
Who will be on our leader board this year? We can't wait to see which students will impress us with their reading!
