Outstanding Student work

Students have been working incredibly hard this half term, building both their written and oracy skills as well as excelling in the Maths Challenge.

Year 11 English

Year 11 are practising their persuasive writing skills through oracy and debate in Ms George’s class.

They discussed a range of topics including ‘what it means to be a good role model’ and showcased their knowledge and skills - a fantastic way to get ready for their upcoming English Language exams.

Maths Challenge

Select Year 9 and Year 10 students took part in the UKMT Intermediate Maths challenge.

The Intermediate Maths Challenge is a 60-minute, multiple-choice challenge. The challenge encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques. The problems are designed to make students think. Most are accessible, yet still challenge those with more experience.
