Valentine's Reading List

This half term's reading list is on the theme of love inspired by Valentine's Day. A range of books have been selected exploring all forms of love.

The Fault In Our Stars is a fabulous book about a young teenage girl who has been diagnosed with lung cancer and attends a cancer support group. Hazel is 16 and is reluctant to go to the support group, but she soon realises that it was a good idea.

Everything, Everything tackles life issues and teaches all sorts of lessons about love and loss in many different ways. Whether it's through math or reading or a destination, there is a method that will relate to anyone. You will most certainly learn a thing or two about life when you're done with this book.

Twilight is a series of fantasy romance novels by Stephenie Meyer. It follows the life of Isabella "Bella" Swan, a human teenager who moves to Forks, Washington and finds her life turned upside-down when she falls in love with a vampire named Edward Cullen.

It's Kind of a Funny Story is about fifteen year-old Craig who suffers from depression and after having suicidal thoughts, calls a suicide helpline and gets admitted into a psychiatric hospital. In there, he meets a whole range of patients, suffering from different mental conditions.
