Here at LBS we understand the importance of variety and with it we offer many thing; one of those being a variety of sports. There is the Premier League Club that is run by Mr Preece from the PE department and in it we allow the students to be in a safe but competitive environment where the can put their best foot forward and thrive. Under the guidance of Mr Preece himself they thrive and enjoy the competition. We also offer more broad options such as Health and Wellbeing, Table Tennis and Badminton, which students take part in as part of their Enrichment.

The importance of sports at LBS

This lies in the fact that it increases the fitness level of students and even teachers. Students who play team sports will not only improve their physical skills, but also develop their communication abilities. Moreover, it will improve the student's confidence since they might not be willing to try new things, but this will give them the opportunity to do things that they would otherwise never do.

Wolverhampton Wanderers Visit

16 of our students visited the Wolverhampton Training Ground where they took part in a technical Football session. They then visited the Stadium where they received a tour.

It was a great insight for the students around how Academy players at their age train and the standards that are required.

The key message the boys took away was not around the level of ability required, but your attitude and mind-set to be the best you can be every minute of every day.

Our wonderful Y10 students Afshin. B interviewed our head of PE on why it is so beneficial for our young boys to have such opportunities.
