Schoolwide Intervention

Things to accomplish during math intervention:

• Make math fun (manipulatives games/student presentations)

• Give them one or two routines

• Instill an attitude of solving problems different ways

• Have students talk about their problem-solving

• Have students share out and chart after listening to the discussions and highlight different strategies

• Use sentence starters to facilitate discussion/writing

• Develop a vocabulary chart

Give some more complex problems within the same structure to see if they can apply

• TK/Kindergarten

• 1st Grade

• 2nd Grade
