Linewize Filter has a number of different roles you can assign to users that grant access to a different set of features, functions, and data in Linewize Filter. Several roles also allow access to Classwize if your teachers are using it to manage online content and devices in their classrooms. You can also add multiple roles to a single user to give them access to a combination of functions.

Statistical data are pushed to the cloud platform via SSL with TLS. Linewize Filter does not store data in the appliance.
Signatures are patterns or fingerprints that Linewize Filter uses to identify websites, services, or applications for reporting and filtering. For example, Google is a signature which applies to all Google products, such as Google Search, Docs, and Drive, among others.
