Description:
Under the direct supervision of Admin & Finance Manager the Logistic Associate will be responsible to support the operations department in day to day Logistical and Procurement related matters of the project.
Under the project, Laar Humanitarian and Development Programme will ensure and committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment throughout the project. Major Responsibilities:
Perform office administration duties including quotation requests, purchase order follow-ups, stationery supplies, multimedia presentations, and external support logs reporting
Be familiar with the activities of the programme so as to be in a position to function as a full member of the management team and to respond adequately to queries on programme matters
Assist in organizing and providing logistical support for programme events like Trainings, Sessions and other events
Ensure the smooth fleet management
Ensure the regular maintenance and prompt repair of office equipment
Support Warehouse Assistant in maintaining the related records
Monitor the office cleanliness and equipment’s repairing and maintenance
Set up and maintain an appropriate office filing system and assets registry record
Collect quotations for equipment and materials for the Programme and prepare and follow up on procurement requests
Any other task as given by the supervisor
Qualifications and Experience:
At least Bachelors in Public/Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce and Accounting or relevant subject with two to four years of relevant experience
Skills and knowledge required:
Sound knowledge of the basic principles and practices of Logistics and Procurement Systems
Some Knowledge of Financial, Administrative and Security System
Capability of preparing files and maintaining records and documentation
Sound Knowledge of Organizational Policies and procedures
Interpersonal and Communication Skills
Ability to work Independently, as well as in a team with complex environment
Ability to solve the problems

Main Internal contacts:
Logistic Associate will be coordinating with LHDP’s Finance, Logistic, Admin and Programme Teams. S/he will directly reports to Admin & Finance Manager and will follow the organization’s functional chart/organogram.
External Contacts
The position holder will be communicating admin and accounts related work with donor’s finance officer and other relevant officials, as directed by supervisor.
