July 2025
The London EdTech Hubs Roundtable event occurred at LGfL offces on teh 3rd July where EdTech Leaders from across London came together to discuss the latest 12 months of the programme and what the focus for the next should be.
On the 14th July, LEO Academy Trust in partnership with LGfL hosted a Live Lesson broadcast for 400+ members of the Dfe to gain a real time insight into the effective use of EdTech to support everyday Teaching and Learning.
On the 9th July, the Mapmaker Pilot project celebration event featured the achivements of sveral Edtechhubs PrimarySchools at the Royal Geographical Society in Kensington Gore.

The Organisers of the BETT Show agree to 'Bett Learning Live' with the EdtechHubs programme . Three live lessons will be taught in a specially designed classroom durign the show featuring Ribblesdale School, Pioneer School and LEO Academy Trust - all exclusively Lead schools from the EdtTech Hubs programme.

LEO Academy Trust CEO Phil Hedger met with the Education Secretary and Deputy Prime Minister of the time to discuss the future of AI in Education. The impact of the Dfe EdTech Demonstrator Programme was acknowledged and the Government at the time said they were looking at that framework and its impact for the future support for schools

A tour of the North West EdTech Lead Hubs schools have highlighted:
Excellence Robotics at Highfurlong School was captured and a desire to create a Blackpool EdTech Hub in partnership with Blackpool Council was established
Ribblesdale School has been prototyping the School Bank platform and also the capture of up-to-date EdTech Hub implementation advice with Senior Leaders
Whitefield Primary in Liverpool have agreed to host a Digital Discovery Day on the 18th June which will feature input from Phil Hedger (LEO Academy Trust CEO)

The East of England EdTech Hub Leaders visited Langley School (Norfolk) to discuss and plan for events in the eastern region later in 2024 and beyond. Lawford C of E Primary School committed to offering their first Digital Discovery Day on the 3rd July and Pioneer SEND School on the 25th June.
