Parental EdTech Study Tours @ Lawford
Lawford has been building trust and understanding with their parents through transparent communication, providing clear guidance, and demonstrating the positive impact of technology for their children.
A highly effective way of doing this it to invite parents in at a set time and give them a tour of the school showing how, why and where technology is used.
By fostering a deeper understanding among parents, they have been able to start a programme where parents can fund their own device which the child can bring home from school, which is configured by the Schools with all the LGfL safeguarding tools to ensure that home use online is safe and secure as well.

The Former HT and DHT at Lawford C of E Primary School teach a live lesson at the East of England 2025 Conference showcasing the effective use of Tcehnology to support all learners.

The Home Front at Lawford Church of England Primary School
Lawford C of E Primary School has been exploring the potential of combining Sandbox AR-generated content with pupil-generated video content to showcase their understanding of the topic of the WW2 home front.
Immersive approaches to Teaching and Learning about Polar Exploration
Pupil-generated augmented reality has been used to support the curriculum topic of 'Polar Regions and Exploration'.
... and they created some amazing immersive environments for pupils to explore themselves!
LGfL- Bridge the Divide Case Study at Lawford C of E Primary School
Lawford C of E Primary was an early adoptor of the LGfL Bridge the Divide scheme delivering high quality, low cost devices. The scheme allowed the school to accelerate their adoption of technology for everyday teaching and learning and made one to one devices ratios a reality in Upper Key Stage 2.
