PedTECh Impact REport Launch event
The PedTech Impact Report was launched at Google HQ on the 14th Dec 2023.
ReWatch the key contributions on the day to understand the context of this groundbreaking report on the effective use of technology in everyday Teaching and Learning.
Watch Phil Hedger (LEO CEO) describe the rationale for commissioning the Impact Report and the benefits the report has brought across all LEO schools and beyond.
"Although it's taken us 15 years to reach this point, what we wanted to do with this report was to share it with all of you. So if you're thinking about starting this or you're already somewhere on the journey, hopefully, you can learn from some of the things that we've done, some of the research that we've undertaken, and some of the schools that we've visited"

1. Introduction to the Pupil Panel with Ty Goddard ( EdTech UK)
2. How do you use EdTech in your everyday learning?
3. What difference has having a one-to-one device made?
4. How does technology help everyone in their everyday learning?
5. How does technology influence how you communicate and record your learning?
6. How has EdTech transformed your approach and achievements at school?
7. What difference has having your own laptop made to your everyday learning?
What do the Teachers say about PedTech in action?
'We have really thought about teaching and learning and not about technology. This is just teaching and learning. We had a Technology for Learning policy at the very beginning when we first rolled out one-to-one devices because we felt that that was the right thing to do. But our work with Fiona made us think differently and think about this as just Teaching and Learning. So this is now written into the teaching and learning policy because we know that all the things the children do on those devices have a fundamental impact on that.'

Bob Usher (LGfL) explains the significance of the PedTech Partnerships that have helped contribute to the success of LEO and how the positive impact of their work is felt far beyond, across the whole of LGfL and EdTech Hubs Community.
I don't know whether any of you in the audience have had that slight feeling of "If only I had so and so that I work with by my side, they could have witnessed that as well. They could have heard that, they could have been inspired by that also"
I felt it massively with the pupil panel we just experienced
