Study Tour reflection - Microsoft

'I think one of the key points of today is that I got to see the realisation of all of the strategies that Tim the Headteacher, has been telling me about because he has put so much thought into his strategy, so much thought into his school improvement plan, so much thought into each and every bit of this school. And now I can see that coming to life, and that is so important to have that rigour in leadership.

It's not worth putting technology into a classroom for technology's sake. It has to be there for a very specific reason, to have a very specific outcome to make sure that we're driving in the right direction.'

Study Tour reflection - Drift IT Services

I think it's just wonderful being able to see all of this technology in action and seeing what they're getting out of these devices. It's not just technology for technology's sake, they're really embedding it into their learning and seeing the children being completely engrossed in what they're doing and it's just inspiring. I like to pass that on to other schools that I deal with and hopefully, we can have some joint conversations and get all schools involved.'
