'One unintended but fantastic consequence of our digital strategy has been its impact on recruitment and retention. In this period, LEO has become an employer of choice. We no longer have to spend vast amounts of money on advertising roles, staff are coming to us. Word of mouth has spread about how we use technology in the classroom and how we use it across the trust. It has reduced people's workload, it has re-energised them as teachers.'

Why are the research findings important? PLEO 10
'In terms of the impact report, the PedTech report, it has huge implications for us here at Leo Academy Trust. We know that technology was making a difference, but we need a concrete example of how it's impacting our pupils, not just teaching and learning, but English and mathematics. We have it, and the results are way above the national average. We can see how it supports workload, helps increase participation for some pupils, and enhances that teaching and learning strategy. So when we have visitors, we can clearly articulate the difference that Pedtech is making for our pupils'
