Each week we will make suggestions of how you can help your child at home, linked to what we have been focusing on in class.
This challenge will be sent home on a Friday.
Whilst it is not compulsory, the activities are designed to support your child so we recommend you complete them where possible.
In addition to this, we also encourage children to:
Practise their phonics daily (these will be sent home weekly)
Read daily where possible
Reading at home
You will get a reading book in your book bag in September. We will be encouraging you to share a book with your grown up at least 4 times a week. It is very important that you get into this good habit straight away! You will also be able to choose a library book every week as well as bringing home a reading book. Please share this book with your gown up too as they love to read stories to you!
