We have been very busy over the last two weeks in Seals. We have been writing a retell of Paddington in English, and have started our new story 'Peace at Last'. In maths we have been looking at number bonds and using the whole part model to help us. 

In science we looked at trees in the different seasons and painted the different coloured leaves to help us remember. In History we thought about how we have celebrated our birthdays in the past and looked at the similarities and differences between our celebrations. In Art we practised continuous line drawing and then created our final piece of a spiral, using chalks, and merged them together to make our collaborative collage. 

We listened to some very yummy poems on National Poem Day last week! This week we had some incredibly respectful conversations about our emotions and what makes us happy during Hello Yellow day. 

 Our topic for the half term is Teddy Travels

Maths - We will be continuing with simple addition. 

English - We will write a retell of Peace at Last.

Science - We will be comparing weather across the United Kingdom. 

History - We will discuss the similarities and differences between our history and our grandparents history.

Art - We will be exploring what happens when you draw with a coloured pen and brush water on top.
