Year 3 have been working really hard to tell the time in hours, minutes and seconds, calculating how long something takes and showing this on a clock. We are becoming very confident at telling the time on an analogue clock and also on a digital clock.
We had an amazing week of Science and children took part in different investigations such as 'rubber egg', 'shadow puppets', 'germs on bread', paper aeroplanes and many more. It was so much fun!
In English, children have written a non-chronological report about everything they have learned about Ancient Egyptians. We can't wait for our Ancient Egyptian workshop on Tuesday 5th April. where we will get to dress up as pharaohs and mummies.
We enjoyed the visit from Sutton Schools and their interactive workshop which taught us what had happened at Easter and we continued our learning about this special time in our RE lessons.
On Wednesday we had a really fun photography workshop and we wore hats and colourful t-shirts to make our photographs more exciting. We learned a lot about how professional cameras work and we had the chance to take selfies and photograph our classmates.
It has been an extremely busy but successful fortnight. Well done Y3! You are just amazing.
