SUSTRANS - BIG WALK AND WHEEL

Brookfield pupils will be participating in the country’s biggest inter-school walking, wheeling, scooting and cycling competition.
The Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel takes place on the 21st March to 1st April 2022 and aims to highlight the benefits an active school run can have on children and young people’s physical and mental health as well as the environment.

The Youth-Led Conference is set to be an engaging event, with the opportunity to hear from eight young people from the borough about what autism means to them, and the adjustments they would like to see to make society more autism-friendly. This is great CPD for staff, as well as being a useful resource to share or watch with students to help them better understand themselves and their peers.
The event will be held live via our YouTube Channel, with recordings available after the event.

Cheam Common Junior Academy will be running a Easter Holiday club which will be open to all LEO pupils.
If you would like your child(ren) to attend the holiday club please email ccjextendedservices@leoacademytrust.co.uk and they will send a google form to you.
The cost is £30 per day and the activities are as follows:
Week 1:
Monday 11th April - Hats & Baskets
Tuesday 12th April - Make Hot X Buns
Wednesday 13th April - Easter Crafts
Thursday 14th April - Easter Egg Hunt
Week 2:
Tuesday 19th April - Spring Crafts
Wednesday 20th April - Sport & Team Games
Thursday 21st April - Baking
Friday 22nd April - Nature Hunt
