What a great end of term for year 6!
In English, the children really enjoyed writing their own narratives based on the current text we have been looking at. It was great to see so many children challenging themselves to include speech to convey character and action. They have also written some great book reviews, including the important parts of the story and characters.
Maths this week encouraged children to use their problem solving skills to measure angles. They thoroughly enjoyed writing on the tables and using protractors.
They children also loved running around the school looking for clues during the grammar scavenger hunt. They had to work in teams to solve a grammar question, gaining a letter for each correct answer before moving onto the next clue.
We want to commend the children's determination and hard work this half term as they have been preparing for their SATs in May. Their perseverance is something that they should be proud of!
