At Brookfield we are working towards our Rights Respecting Schools silver award and children are learning about the rights of the child.
World Water Day takes place on 22 March every year. It is an annual United Nations observance, started in 1993, that celebrates water and raises awareness of the 2 billion people currently living without access to safe water. A core focus of World Water Day is to inspire action towards Sustainable Development Goal (SDG, also known as Global Goal) 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030.
The Articles 24 and 27 tell us that children have the right to the best care possible, safe water to drink, nutritious food, a clean and safe environment, and information to help them stay well.
Each week, a child in each class will be rewarded with a certificate for their efforts to contribute to one of the articles in our charter.

Our RRSA ambassadors have written a letter to all parents/guardians to let them know of their role in the school. Please click here to read their message.
