It's hard to believe we are now at the end of the Spring Term! The children have had yet another busy fortnight We have completed our non-fiction books about the Great Fire of London and will be sad to end this topic which has just been great fun - I'm sure your child is now a mastermind in the events of 1666! We have had a lovely time exploring the shades we can get with drawing pencils. This has been part of our artwork inspired by an artist called Paul Cadden - his pictures look like photographs but are all drawn with pencil. Our chapter on early multiplication and division has seen the children sharing and grouping to understand these concepts. Our final science experiment had us testing materials to see if they were waterproof - the children had great fun using the pipettes to pick up and drip the water onto the different materials.
May we take this opportunity to wish you all a restful Easter Break - fingers crossed that the weather is kind for the holiday!
