We have had such a fun week! We have been so busy in Reception with our trip to Asda. We wrote a shopping list and bought lots of yummy vegetables to bring back to school. We made a delicious soup with our vegetables. Did you enjoy your soup?

This week we also enjoyed our Outdoor Learning Day. We explored shadows and we drew around the shadows our friends made. We also used this day to set our newly emerged butterflies free into the class garden! We have been watching them form chrysalises and we have waited so patiently to see how they change from caterpillars into butterflies. This week we also planted our Bee Bombs into the school garden to encourage the butterflies to come back and visit us!

In Pearl Class, we have read the story of Handa's Surprise and found out about all the different fruits from the story. We were so good at trying new fruits and creating our own healthy plates of food. What's your favourite food? Can you remember all the fruits from the story?
