What a brilliant few weeks year 6 have had. In English, the children were tasks with writing their own narratives in relation to the currently part of the book we have read up too. They had to re write the scene where the character was trapped in the quick sand. They created their own writing success criteria formulating the ideas from unpicking a WAGOLL. It was great to see the children include as much detail into their writing as possible. It was great to see lost of children dress up for World Book Day 2022. they thoroughly enjoyed creating artwork linking to the book 'Voices in the Park' and understanding different characters viewpoints. We also had lots of fun trialling out the new 'Now Press Play' resource. It was great to see all the children engaged and learning outdoors!
Finally, we would just like to say a massive well done to all the year 6 children during MOCK SATs week this week. Their perseverance and determination throughout has been exceptionally and should be extremely proud of all that they have achieved so far.
