Year 4 have had an exciting few weeks taking part in lots of different activities across the curriculum. In Maths, the children have been looking at place value. In the next coming weeks, they will be covering addition and subtraction. Children have been using chalk, charcoal, paint, brushes, and sticks to create illustrations similar to those of author Cressida Cowell in art class. In Science, children have been experimenting with circuits. They have learned about the different components of a circuit, such as batteries, wires, and bulbs. They have also built their own circuits and observed how electricity flows through them.
