We have had a busy couple of weeks in Reception! Last week we read the story 'Peace at Last' and talked about the different sounds in the story. We then used our listening skills to try to identify different everyday noises. This week we have read 'The Tiger Who Came To Tea' and learnt the sign for 'tiger'. We explored using a variety of materials to make tiger prints which was lots of fun! In Maths, we have been looking at the number 0 and practiced showing different amounts on our fingers. We have now learnt 8 sounds-  s, a, t, p, i, n, m, d and have been hunting for things that start with these sounds. We have also been to our first assembly!
