Year 4 have had a fantastic start to the term! Their writing has begun with adventure ! Using freeze frames and hotseating, they're diving into Beowulf's world, learning about characters and investigating new words like seasoned storytellers. Through these immersive activities and their grammar focus of persuasive devices, they are well-prepared to write their advertisements in search of a hero to save Heorot Hall. In maths, the children have aced Bar and Line graphsand have become confident in applying this knowledge to context. In science, Bough Beech blooms into "States of Matter," where melting and freezing experiments ignite discovery!
