What a great start Nursery have had to the Spring term. All the children have settled back into the school routine and have been busy with their learning. With the weather being so cold the last few weeks, it has provided many new learning experiences. We used tools to find ways to crack the ice and collect objects that were frozen in it. After collecting some ice, we brought it inside where it was warmer to see what happened! We have enjoyed tummy time, drawing shapes to create representations of fire engines, thinking about where the wheels go and where we could draw a ladder. Our rhyming skills are really developing and so many children can create a rhyming pair- amazing! On Thursday, we celebrated Winnie the Pooh day. We though about all the ways we are kind and wrote a letter to Winnie the Pooh. We sensibly walked to the postbox on Chertsey Drive and posted our letter to him. We really hope he writes back!Â
