Reception have had a busy and exciting couple of weeks launching into our new topic, "Out of This World"! We blasted off with a magical journey through the pages of "Room on the Broom," where we soared through the sky with a witch and her cat, all while hunting for rhyming words. Next, we ventured into the deep dark wood with "The Gruffalo," trying to find words that started with the same sound. Our classrooms have been transformed into vibrant autumnal landscapes as we explored the changing seasons, collecting colorful leaves and creating beautiful artwork.

In maths, we've been busy comparing groups of objects, using our the vocabulary "more," "less," and "fewer" like expert mathematicians. We've also been working hard on our fine motor skills, practicing our scissor grip and carefully snipping along lines.
