Year 4 has been a whirlwind of exciting learning this half term! Over the past two weeks, we've journeyed into the past, crafting thrilling battle narratives and predicting how the stories would end before discovering the actual conclusions. Maths has seen us tackling the tricky world of mixed and improper fractions. In science, we explored the water cycle and tested our knowledge with an end-of-topic quiz. Our Anglo-Saxon Day was a huge hit, bringing history to life, and the Beowulf and Anglo-Saxon workshop was a fantastic experience. A definite highlight for everyone was stepping back in time for our immersive Anglo-Saxon Day!
After the half term, we will be learning:
Maths - We will be working on time.
Writing - We will start working on our new Power of Reading text 'Arthur and the Golden Rope'.
Geography - We will start our new topic called 'Where does our food come from?'.
Science - Our new topic will be, Energy: Sounds and Vibrations.
