In English this week, the children have been exploring non fiction texts and researching facts about ocean creatures. They have used all this information to write their own non fiction booklet about ocean animals. In maths we have begun to explore number to 40 and split numbers into 10s and 1s. In science we have been writing like scientists to explain which parts of the body we use for our senses. In history we have used what we have learnt about toys from the past and present to think about what toys might be like in the future! Last week, we completed our art unit of work on printing and created another printing block by drawing on the surface of a polystyrene tile, then rolling on paint to make a print. The prints we made from them were amazing!
