We are so proud of how well the Reception children have settled into school life this year! They have loved exploring their new learning environment and making new friends. 

This week has been particularly exciting as we read 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea'. The children had a wonderful time retelling the story and using different materials to create their own tiger prints. 

In maths, we have been busy practicing our counting skills and creating repeating patterns. 

We have begun our phonics journey by learning the sounds 's', 'a', 't', 'p', 'i', 'n', 'm', and 'd'. The children are already starting to sound out and blend words with these sounds! Well done Reception!
