This week we have been learning:
Maths - we have been identifying faces, edges and vertices in different 3D shapes.
Writing - we have been learning how to plan, write and then edit our setting descriptions based on the book 'A River'.
Geography - we have continued our new topic "Our Wonderful World" where we have looked at using atlases and Google Earth to identify the different human and physical features of our local area.
Science - we have been looking at what we need to do to stay fit and healthy and have started doing a different exercise each day in class to see if we can improve.
Next week, we will be learning:
Maths - we will be continuing our Shape topic and look at creating 3D shapes out of nets and identify recurring patterns.
Writing - we will be working on our use of adverbs before planning and writing the beginning, middle and end of a story based on the book, 'Leaf'.
Geography - we will be looking at finding different plants and animals in our local area and using tallies and bar charts to analyse the data.
Science - we will be looking at what foods and drinks we should be having to keep our bodies healthy and strong.
