Reception have had a busy and exciting couple of weeks! We've been exploring the wonderful world of stories with "Mixed" and "Goldilocks and the Three Bears." In Literacy, we discovered how speech bubbles bring characters to life and even wrote our own, practicing our mark making and phonics skills along the way. We also had a great time acting out "Goldilocks," using lots of exciting words from the story.

Our Maths lessons saw us counting with confidence and using new words to describe the size of different objects. 

Inspired by "Mixed," we became amazing artists in our colour mixing explorations, creating our very own colourful characters. 

We even stepped back in time, creating timelines and comparing toys we love now with those from the past.
