Year 4 has had a busy and exciting few weeks! In English, we launched our new core text, 'The Secret Explorers and the Rainforest Rangers', which has inspired some fantastic descriptive work, including writing diary entries based on the beginning of the story. Our focus in Maths has been strengthening our fundamental number skills by consolidating our knowledge of the 6, 7, 9, and 11 times tables. This directly links to our new Geography topic, where we have begun exploring the fascinating world of rainforests. Meanwhile, in Science, we have become young engineers, investigating electricity and building our understanding of simple circuits. Finally, a significant focus has been placed on our participation in Anti-Bullying Week, where the children engaged in a variety of activities to promote kindness, respect, and awareness.
