This week we have been learning about:
Maths - we have been looking at drawing out multiplication questions in arrays.
Writing - we have been planning, writing and then editing a diary entry as if we were Captain Cook on his voyage to Australia.
Science - we have been looking at the properties of materials and how we can manipulate them by stretching, twisting, bending and squashing.
Geography - we have been learning what continents there are, where the equator is and starting to think about the differences between very hot places and very cold places.
Next week's learning:
Maths - we will be starting to look at division - recapping year 1 work of sharing equally before dividing by 2s, 5s and 10s.
Writing - we will be learning about commands, imperative verbs and writing in the present tense.
Science - we will be conducting an investigation to test which materials and the "stretchiest".
Geography - we will be comparing and contrasting the geographical features of the UK and Kenya.
