Year 6 have had a super couple of weeks. In English, we've been creating persuasive leaflets to advertise products using Jamboard and Flipgrid. In maths, we have been learning to order, subtract and add fractions. In science, we created our own websites to show our understanding of how to look after our bodies. We have also been lucky enough to immerse ourselves twice  in Now Press Play. Firstly to finish off our RE topic on Islam, the second (this week) to introduce our new history topic, the Mayan Civilisation. In PE, we have been enjoying playing quarterball.

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be learning:

Maths - multiplying and dividing fractions

Writing - we will be focusing on writing a persuasive leafllet

Reading - we will be deciphering vocabulary in texts

History - we are introducing our new topic, The Mayans

Science - we will be introducing our new topic, light.
