We have had a great start to Spring 2 in Nursery with our new topic 'Things that Move'. We read the story 'Dear Zoo' and learnt lots of makaton signs for the animals in the story. During PE, the children explored travelling in different ways just like animals from the book. We used the smart board to play Busy Things, and guess the which animal was making the noise. We made sure that we took turns and waited patiently until it was our go. We have continued to develop our fine motor skills to support our name writing, as well as clapping out syllables in words we know. We had lots of fun getting messy and making marks in the flour using our hands and paintbrushes.
