Our policy on school uniform is based on the notion that school uniform:

• promotes a sense of pride in the school;

• engenders a sense of community and belonging towards the school;

• is practical and smart;

• identifies the children with the school;

• prevents children from coming to school in fashion clothes that could be distracting in class;

• makes children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance;

• is regarded as suitable wear for school and good value for money by most parents;

• is designed with health and safety in mind

The Senior Leadership Team has made the decision to change the colour of the girls summer dresses from Red to Blue as they feel this is more in keeping with the Brookfield blue colour scheme.

Please note that the children can wear either colour, this will allow for parents to pass items down between siblings ‘natural wastage’.  Going forward any new purchases of summer dresses should be blue.

The Senior Leadership Team has made the decision to phase out the nursery uniform ie. red sweatshirts and t-shirts.  We feel that it is more sustainable for our nursery children to wear uniform that can be worn when they move up into Reception.

From September 2023 the nursery children can wear the navy sweatshirts/cardigans.  Due to natural wastage the navy uniform can be worn alongside the existing red nursery uniform, either purchased from the school office or passed down from older siblings.  The children can continue to wear leggings and joggers with trainers for comfort.

We have purchased all of the existing red nursery uniform from School Wear Inc which is available to purchase via the School Office, at the cost price we paid.  The uniform can be purchased either in cash (exact money) or on the Arbor app, via School Shop and collected from the office.

Sweatshirts - age 3-4 / age 4-5 / age 5-6 / age 6-7 = £7.50 each

T-shirts - age 2 / age 3-4 / age 5-6 = £3.75 each
