What a busy fortnight! Firstly can we say a big thank you for your cooperation with the alternative dropping off and collecting route - it all seems to have been working well and we appreciate your support during the EYFS makeover!
The children have been having great fun in PE where we are working on our 'Cognitive Cog' which focuses on following simple instructions. As part of the lesson we have become train engines - our arms are the pistons and we have to move opposite arms and legs as we travel around. We have also been concentrating on balance when walking along a straight line ensuring our feet are placed one in front of the other. In the adventures this week we pretended to cross a wobbly bridge whilst passing a bean bag between our legs!
We had great fun in science exploring our sens of taste by tasting sweet, sour, bitter, and salty flavours. We also enjoyed guessing which flavoured crisps we were tasting.
Emerald had a fantastic trip to the ecology centre on Monday and Jade Class are looking forward to their visit next week.
