For my class, families can help their students succeed by making certain that they attend the Google Meets when they are learning at home on a school day.
I love teaching French because French is my first language and Québec is the province of my parents. Teaching a language allows me to teach problem solving skills, decoding skills, communication skills and acceptance of differences not only in language but culture.
On a typical Saturday, you might find me cleaning my house, doing laundry, working in the garden or taking a walk with others in my neighborhood.

I love teaching Spanish because it allows me to help my students gain a new perspective in the world, exposing them to a new culture and giving them the possibility of meeting new people.

For my class, families can help their students succeed by encourage him or her to dedicate at least half hour of everyday to study current material.
I love teaching Spanish because the purest joy of teaching the Spanish language and the Latino culture is when you see the result of your work in those moments when your students demonstrate learning. When you see a face light up at comprehending a Spanish question and then answering the question in Spanish. When you see a child’s imagination is engaged by a Spanish storybook, video or interactive lesson. When you see the special grins that come when students communicate with each other in Spanish. When smiling students approach you in the hallway and greet you in Spanish. These moments can turn your darkest day into a bright and lovely joy.
On a typical Saturday, you might find me appreciating a walk with my little dog when weather allows it or even enjoying an ice cream with friends and family.
Spanish 1 & 2, Room 205

For my class, families can help their students succeed by allowing for daily studying of at least 15 minutes on Quizlet. Perhaps help quiz them on words by saying the word in English and requiring them to say the words back in Spanish.
I love teaching Spanish because I love helping students analyze their own languages as they learn a new one. It is wonderful to watch students grow more and more confident with pronouncing words in Spanish. I enjoy exposing the students to cultures and people they may not have learned about if they had not taken Spanish class.
On a typical Saturday, you might find me trying to cook Indian food, watching many Netflix shows with my husband, watching Youtube videos in Spanish, and/or spending time with my three cats.

For my class, families can help their students succeed by encouraging participation during the class period (in particular by speaking Spanish), and promoting fun listening activities at home, like watching TV/movies and listening to music in Spanish.
I love teaching Spanish because language is key to understanding culture. Culture is simply fascinating. Why do people do what they do? I have traveled around the world learning about and from different cultures. I hope my love of learning and travel is contagious.
On a typical Saturday, you might find me skiing, hiking, sailing, surfing, biking, cooking, or sharing the joy of food and conversation with friends and family.
