For my class, families can help their students succeed by creating a space, both in your family calendar and in your home, for your student to record or practice their music without interruption or criticism.

I love teaching music because I love to help students find their voices and use them for good. I believe that choir is a perfect example of community. Everyone brings their own unique gifts to our ensemble, and we work together toward one common goal.

On a typical Saturday, you might find me strolling the neighborhood with my one-year-old daughter, enjoying a hot lobster roll by the water, relaxing in my hot tub, or testing recipes for my family cookbook.

I love teaching music because music is the closest thing to true magic I've experienced in my life. I love helping students discover the powerful role music can play in their lives. Large ensembles are the ultimate example of community and teamwork.

On a typical Saturday, you might find me at the beach with my wife, three-year-old, and eight-month-old, at a concert, or enjoying a laid back meal at home.
