Families can help their students succeed in my classes by in Understanding Self & Relationships, asking them what the Action for Happiness Calendar Tip of the day is. For Culinary, they will be preparing things on their day at home while in Hybrid- let them cook for you!! For Sewing & Fashion- students will be sewing projects at school. Some of these I will provide the materials. Students will also need to obtain material and a sewing pattern from a fabric store.

I love teaching life skills courses because from cooking to sewing, or reaching out to a student and helping them realize their worth, I love teaching all the courses. It is so rewarding to see students working on projects and knowing they value the skills they are practicing.

On a typical Saturday, you might find me spending time with my family, walking to the river or running with my dog Bella.
