For my class, families can help their students succeed by encouraging your student to be on time and to complete the at-home assignments.
I love teaching technical education because I love to see students unlock unknown potential. So many students take a hands-on class without having any experience with tools, or making things, and end the course with a new found passion.
On a typical Saturday, you might find me taking a walk on the beach with my family and two dogs, Baxter and Daisy.

For my class, families can help their students succeed by ensuring that they are familiar with the class expectations and have sufficient bandwidth to access course videos and materials.
I love teaching technical education because my students learn skills to design and build cool things like robots. Robots are cool, and we build one every year.
On a typical Saturday, you might find me you might find me sailing in Fisher's Island Sound (between May and October) attempting to avoid the rocks. Between January and April, I'll be waist deep in robot parts.

For my class, families can help their students succeed by encouraging your student to be as engaged in the hands-on aspects of the courses when physically at school and being attentive when attending virtually.
I love teaching technical education because I am enthusiastic about the hands on aspects of my shop courses, allowing students apply gained knowledge to experience working productively with tools and machinery. I also enjoy students having the opportunity for the application of logic, math and problem-solving that is a focus for the Principles of Engineering course.
On a typical Saturday, you might find me doing DIY projects at home, enjoying my family and being outdoors.
