The Early Childhood Education Program equips students with the skills needed for employment in childcare centers or to pursue further education in early childhood education at the post-secondary level. Students gain proficiency in child development, care, guidance, and teaching for children from birth through second grade. Hands-on experience is provided through weekly internships and externships at the program’s partner day care center or on-site laboratory school.
Note: This program is being created in order to seek approval as a CTE Program in the future.
