Learning Circle Faculty Conducts Leader in Me Benchmarking at Mary the Queen School of Malolos
April 2, 2025 – Malolos, Bulacan
A team of selected faculty members from Learning Circle visited Mary the Queen School of Malolos for a Leader in Me (LiM) School Benchmarking experience.
Led by School Principal Teacher Wenine, the visiting team included Teacher Nicole, Teacher Bea, Teacher Anne, Teacher Grace, Teacher Kaith, Teacher Maricris, and Teacher Gena. The group departed from Learning Circle at 7:00 AM and arrived at the host school by 9:00 AM, where they were warmly received by Coach Red, Learning Circle’s assigned coach.
Mary the Queen School prepared a well-organized, full-day itinerary filled with structured time blocks and engaging activities. The visit opened with a campus tour led by confident and enthusiastic student leaders. This was followed by classroom observations and coaching of how the school effectively integrates the Leader in Me (LiM) framework into their academic programs, events, and daily routines.
One of the most impactful moments of the day was a parent-sharing session, where invited parents shared their children’s experiences in a leadership school. Their heartfelt stories clearly illustrated the meaningful difference Leader in Me (LiM) has made in their children’s development, compared to more traditional school environments.
The benchmarking experience was both insightful and inspiring. The Learning Circle faculty went home with practical strategies, actionable ideas, and renewed motivation to set goals that will drive visible and meaningful results as we continue our transformation into a Leadership-Centered School.

Learning Circle Joins Earth Hour 2025 at SMOC!

The Learning Circle School was honored to be invited by SM Olongapo Central to take part in Earth Hour 2025, a global movement promoting sustainability and environmental awareness.
On March 21, 2025, the LC Owlistas lit up the stage with their incredible talents in storytelling, acting, and dancing—bringing messages of environmental stewardship to life in a fun and engaging way.
The program opened with warm remarks from Ms. Leilani, Marketing Officer of SM Olongapo Central, followed by the enthusiastic hosting of Teacher Nicolette, who set the stage for a line-up of adorable dancers and talented performers.
The lively dance performance to “Batang Bibo ng Kalikasan,” choreographed by Teacher Mariah, featured:
Shaira, Samantha, Marc Fredrick, Laura, Brian, Kishi, Iszhel, Alyannah, Kylie Hermione, Harry, Zion, Margaux, and Jamee. Their joyful energy truly captured the spirit of the Earth Hour celebration.
Teacher Grace sparked curiosity and interest by engaging the audience with questions using a globe—setting the scene for the much-anticipated stage play.
The play "Inggolok at ang Planeta Pakaskas" by Rene O. Villanueva was brought to life by our passionate LC Owlistas.
Josef Sol (Grade 4 - Humility) served as the animated storyteller.

Michael as Inggolok
Rhysse as Inggolok’s wife
Erielle as Inggolok’s daughter
Anya, Kim, Iam, Arjay, Achina, Kelcy, Marco, and Aaron as the lively “Nguyamyams”
The play was directed with creativity and expertise by Teacher Lot. The whole LCSC faculty and staff unitedly prepared for this big event!
Following the performance, Teacher Anne led a thoughtful story discussion, gently guiding the audience through the message of the play—leaving a lasting impression. Teacher Bea’s interactive trivia segment capped off the program, helping everyone deepen their understanding of Earth Hour’s purpose and meaning.
This year’s Earth Hour celebration encouraged everyone to become more mindful and responsible citizens of Earth. The story of Inggolok reminded us that our planet is our only home—a message we hope touches hearts and inspires action.

On March 11, 2025 (Tuesday), Learning Circle students embarked on an exciting educational field trip, exploring three incredible destinations. The journey began early, with the bus leaving Olongapo at 5:30 a.m. and arriving at Ayala Glorietta 2 by 9:30 a.m.
The first stop was Omniverse, where students marveled at the various showcases of famous movie characters, immersing themselves in the world of cinema and pop culture.
After a fun-filled morning, the group proceeded to Science EXpedition at Ayala Manila Bay. The experience kicked off with a video presentation about Albert Einstein, followed by a lively Q&A session. Ronnie from Grade 4 correctly answered that Einstein was from Germany, Anya, Grade 6, responded that he lived for 76 years, Karylle from Grade 3 remembered that Einstein’s favorite food was ice cream, and Josef recalled that Einstein loved playing the violin. The students also had the chance to take photos with Einstein’s replica and explore hands-on exhibits related to his inventions.
The final stop was Lakbay Museo, where the students immersed themselves in Filipino culture. They played traditional games, danced tinikling, and even showcased their singing skills, with Kindergarten student Eric bravely performing two songs on the karaoke. Meanwhile, parents enjoyed local street food like "tusok-tusok" while watching the children engage in the activities.
It was a long but unforgettable day, filled with learning, laughter, and bonding among students, teachers, and families. The experience left everyone with cherished memories and newfound knowledge!

Learning Circle wrapped up February with a heartwarming book reading and kicked off March with an exciting book launch!
February 28, 2025: The amazing Teacher "Doli" Dardanelleis Labrador Balisi-Lizaso visited Learning Circle and shared her newly published book, The Seamstress and the Shoemaker, with our young learners! She also led a meaningful parenting talk, where LC parents exchanged insights and tips on raising the next generation.
March 1, 2025: We had a fantastic book launch and Tiny Tales session at SM Central Olongapo! T. Doli, thrilled for her first mall book launch, captivated kids with storytelling from The Seamstress and the Shoemaker and its twin book, Wilma Needs New Shoes. The little ones were all ears, eagerly answering her questions and soaking in the magic of books!
To make it even more special, Teacher Doli signed books for kids and parents and shared wonderful photo moments with them.
So, we celebrated with books—yesterday, today, and for all the tomorrows to come! We hope every child and everyone who joined these events will continue to feel the excitement of book reading and cultivate a lifelong love for stories.

Learning Circle in LiM Community
The Learning Circle delegates—T. Wenine, Sir Dave, T. Nicole, T. Grace, T. Kaith, and T. Mary Ko—had the privilege of attending the 2-day Leader in Me (LiM) Community Coaching and Symposium at Assumption College, San Lorenzo, Makati, on February 19-20, 2025.
During the event, they had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Brooke Judd, Sr. Director of Global Product Excellence at Franklin Covey Education, and connect with other Leader in Me schools across the Philippines.
They also had the chance to network with inspiring individuals such as Ma’am Ruth Ignacio, Founder and Director of Marywoods Academy (the first Lighthouse School in the Philippines), and Sir Geoffrey from Mary the Queen School of Malolos, among others.
The experience was truly empowering, leaving a lasting impact on everyone involved. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing LiM Coaches, Ma’am Kristine Javier and Sir Red Garcia, for their continuous guidance and support!

Choose To Be: A Community of Positivity

February 2025. As we entered the fourth quarter, T. Grace introduced a heartfelt initiative—a Choose to Be bulletin board, where teachers, staff, and students could share what they choose as individuals. During our morning meeting, teachers started by writing our own choices. I wrote, I choose to be happy, hopeful, grateful, and kind. We posted our small papers on the bulletin board.
When I went up at 1:00pm, I noticed students had already begun adding their own responses, and the board was quickly filling up. By 3:50 in the afternoon, after classes, I was amazed to see it nearly covered with heartfelt messages from our students.
This simple yet powerful idea sparked incredible engagement from our school community. I am truly grateful to T. Grace for her initiative and to our students for their enthusiastic participation. It’s a beautiful reminder of the power of positivity and collaboration between teachers and students.

On January 24, 2025, Learning Circle School successfully conducted its monthly earthquake drill in collaboration with the West Bajac-Bajac Barangay Risk and Disaster Response Unit (BRADRU), led by Sir Mark.
A big thank you to the Brgy. Captain of West Bajac-Bajac, Hon. Billy Joel T. Capistrano, for sending the barangay personnels and the BRADRU team to show their support in ensuring the safety and preparedness of our students and staff.

Scouts Investiture SY 24-25
On January 23, 2025, we celebrated the Scouting Investiture Ceremony at Learning Circle School!
Scouts of Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 4 (Twinklers, Kidscouts, Starscouts, Kabscouts, Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts) took part in this special event. It was attended by Sir Frank Santos, Scout Master, and Sir Jess Ramos, Private School Coordinator of Boyscout of the Philippines, James L. Gordon Council, Olongapo City.
Parents proudly tied the neckerchiefs on their scouts, who showcased their skills with impressive marches and dances. The ceremony was a beautiful moment of unity, with fellow scouts showing support for their peers’ achievements.
It was truly a wonderful experience for everyone!
