Robin Yoon graduated from University of Florida in 2015, majoring in biology.
Throughout college, Robin did extensive research in the field of rare diseases, investigating efficacy of novel gene therapy for various rare diseases.
That paved an opportunity for Robin to work full-time as a researcher as a fresh college grad, at the National Institutes of Health, where he continued his studies in rare diseases.
Robin worked there for about 3.5 years until pandemic hit, then he applied to a post baccalaureate program at Georgetown University that bridged him directly to their medical school program.
