Anne O'Brien

Anne O'Brian attended East Carolina University, earning by Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Anne has worked at Inova Children's Hospital since graduation, always in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), almost 35 years.

She have a national certification in both Neonatal Intensive Care (RNC-NIC) and Care of the Extremely Low Birth Weight Neonate (C-ELBW)

Within Inova, I am at the level of RN4, the highest clinical level.

Within the NICU, I have done nurse management (not for me). Currently in a specialized role of central line team/transport team. I insert and manage central lines. She also goes to outlying hospitals to get sick babies to bring to Fairfax. Anne also attends high risk deliveries in labor & delivery.

Anne has four children and is a resident of South Riding. Two of her children have graduated from Freedom High School.
