Rolling

Activities:

  • Roll a ball back and forth with a partner

  • Roll a ball to pins like bowling (use empty water and soda balls)

  • Roll a ball to a goal (made of home supplies)

  • Roll a ball to a target and if you hit the target, move yourself further back for a challenge

How to Roll:

  1. Standing facing target

  2. Preferred hand swings down and back, reaching behind the body

  3. Step with opposition toward target (rolling with right hand & step with left foot)

  4. Bends knees to lower body

  5. Releases ball close to the floor so the ball does not bounce and rolls smoothly on ground
